Made to measure curtain installation for this boutique hotel in Hertfordshire
Project Overview
We were commissioned to supply and fit three pairs of bespoke curtains to the reception room at St Michael's Manor Hotel. The curtains were made to measure with interlining, providing additional body and fullness while helping with light control and insulation within the room.
The Design
The reception room curtains were made in Edmund Bell Blackout Unit in Clay, finished with a double pinch pleat heading and carefully hand-stitched for a considered, tailored finish. The use of interlining gives the curtains a fuller drape and helps them hang neatly, while the blackout fabric provides additional control over the light entering the room.
Further curtain installations in the Lilac and Magnolia rooms included gorgeous Edmund Bell fabrics with blackout lining and double pinch pleat headings, complete with tie-backs for a seamless finish.
All fabrics used were fire-retardant in compliance.
The Installation
The reception room and bedroom curtains were made to measure with care taken throughout the installation to achieve an even drop and consistent pleating.
The quality of the finished curtains is reflected in the attention to detail, from the hand-stitched construction and interlining in the reception room to the tailored double pinch pleat headings throughout.
The completed installations across the Lilac and Magnolia rooms include blackout-lined curtains fitted on corded tracks, providing effective light control and ease of use while complementing the character of each room.
